New Delhi, Dec. 3 -- In a major operation, the Railway Unit of Delhi Police has cracked down on two organised women gangs that were targeting passengers, primarily women, at key railway stations in the Capital. Five suspects have been arrested, and stolen valuables worth Rs 1 crore have been fully recovered.

DCP Railways KPS Malhotra said, "The Railway Unit remains committed to ensuring a safe and secure travel environment, especially for women passengers. These gangs exploited crowded transit points like lifts and escalators.
