New Delhi, Nov. 22 -- The Delhi Police Crime Branch said on Saturday it has dismantled a major international arms trafficking module with links to Pakistan's Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI).
The syndicate was using drones to smuggle high-end Turkish and Chinese weapons across the border for distribution to criminal gangs in Delhi and the National Capital Region.
In a significant operation, four key operatives were arrested, and a cache of 10 sophisticated semi-automatic pistols, along with 92 live cartridges, was seized. The recovered weapons include the PX-5.7 model from Turkiye, a type typically used by special forces, and the PX-3 model from China.
