New Delhi, March 27 -- : Delhi Police on Friday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Centre for Development of Telematics to enhance its technological capabilities and move towards more advanced, data-driven policing in the national capital, an officer said.
"The agreement focuses on deploying indigenous and secure communication and surveillance solutions to improve operational efficiency, cybersecurity, and emergency response systems," said Devesh Chandra Srivastva, Special Commissioner of Police (Crime Branch).
The officer said that the collaboration marks a significant step in modernizing policing infrastructure using homegrown technology.
