New Delhi, Jan. 5 -- Delhi Mayor Raja Iqbal Singh on Monday rejected the allegations levelled by the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) regarding the dumping of debris at landfill sites, terming them as "completely baseless, misleading and devoid of facts".

He said that during its long tenure, the Aam Aadmi Party did not take any concrete steps towards eliminating Delhi's landfill sites. Instead, due to its policies and administrative failures, the entire city gradually turned into a heap of garbage. Now that the present administration is delivering tangible results, the Aam Aadmi Party is trying to divert public attention by making false allegations.
