New Delhi, Jan. 2 -- The Delhi High Court has granted interim relief to Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister and actor Pawan Kalyan, restraining various websites and online entities from unauthorised commercial exploitation of his personality rights.

Justice Manmeet Pritam Singh Arora, while passing the interim order, observed that the unauthorised use of Pawan Kalyan's name, image, likeness, or voice, at a prima facie stage, amounts to a violation of his personality rights.

The Court restrained the defendants from using any element of his persona for commercial gain without permission, including through the use of advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence, deepfakes, morphing, or digital editing.
