New Delhi, Dec. 17 -- The Delhi government has facilitated the supply of critical life-support medical equipment, including 25 oxygen concentrators and 25 BiPAP machines, for troops deployed in high-altitude and extremely challenging terrains where oxygen levels remain dangerously low.

The equipment has been provided following a request from the Medical Regiment concerned and coordinated through the Oxygen Branch of the Health and Family Welfare Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi.

Officials said the decision was taken keeping national interest and the welfare of soldiers in mind.
