New Delhi, Oct. 25 -- The cleaning of sewer lines in smaller lanes of the national capital is going to be carried out using advanced, state-of-the-art machinery. As part of this, a new machine was inaugurated in the Shalimar Bagh Assembly constituency by Chief Minister Rekha Gupta today.
Notably, these machines, also called the mini- recycler are designed to easily access narrow lanes, and are capable of removing sludge from sewer lines along with performing effective cleaning of the sewer pipes.
Chief Minister Gupta said that the government is in the process of procuring 16 more such machines, and they will be deployed in different areas of the city.
