New Delhi, Dec. 6 -- The Delhi government has constituted a 21-member task force to establish a unified metropolitan transport authority and create a dedicated fund to meet the mobility needs of the city's expanding population, an official said on Saturday.

They said the task force, led by the chief secretary, will determine the structure of the Delhi Urban Metropolitan Transport Authority (DUMTA), along with its institutional framework, geographical jurisdiction, and the composition of its governing board.
