New Delhi, Dec. 28 -- Delhi Government is exploring a collaboration with IIT Kanpur to develop an AI-based decision support system aimed at strengthening pollution control measures in the national capital.

Officials said the move is part of a broader, year-round strategy being prepared to address air pollution through scientific planning, use of advanced technology and coordinated action by multiple agencies.

According to the Environment Department, discussions are underway on the roadmap for collaboration, institutional arrangements and phased implementation of advanced air quality intelligence systems that can support data-driven decision-making.
