New Delhi, Dec. 29 -- : Acting on directions of the Supreme Court and follow-up reviews chaired by senior officials, the Delhi government has issued a series of instructions to strengthen safety measures in educational institutions and sports complexes to prevent the entry of stray dogs.
In compliance with the apex court's order dated November 7, 2025, in the suo motu case ''City Hounded by Stray, Kids Pay Price'' the Directorate of Education(DoE) has been directed to ensure strict implementation of preventive steps outlined in official meeting minutes issued on November 27. The matter was reviewed in meetings chaired by the Secretary (Urban Development) on November 12 and the Chief Secretary on November 20.
