New Delhi, Oct. 11 -- In a major step towards proper management of the construction and demolition waste generated in the national capital, the Delhi government will ensure the use of recycled C&D waste in different projects.
As part of the state government's vision to make Delhi a world-class Pollution free capital city, Urban Development Minister Ashish Sood, held a high-powered meeting of key officials for streamlining the utilization of recycled C&D waste.
The meeting was attended by key officials from the Urban Development Department, DJB, DSIIDC, DTTDC, PWD, NDMC, DDA, DPCC, MCD, DISCOMs, DMRC and NCRTC.
