New Delhi, Aug. 18 -- Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta today announced approval of the Delhi School Education (Fee Determination and Transparency Regulation) Act, 2025, which prioritises voices of parents giving them a significant role in fee-related decisions while protecting students from exploitation.
According to Gupta, Lieutenant Governor Vinay Kumar Saxena has given his assent and the government has officially notified the law. She said the law aligns with the National Education Policy, 2020, which seeks to eliminate profiteering in education and reinforce focus on teaching and learning.
