New Delhi, Oct. 10 -- Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta today said her government has accelerated the GST refund process for traders and entrepreneurs, and so far, disbursed Rs 694 crore in this regard ahead of the upcoming Diwali festival.
Calling it a record achievement, the CM said that the Delhi Government is committed to ensuring that every trader, big or small, receives GST refund within the stipulated time frame.
She lauded the performance of the GST team and noted that officials from the department concerned are using modern technology to expedite refunds, ensuring that the pending amounts are directly credited to traders' bank accounts swiftly.
