New Delhi, Dec. 24 -- : Delhi Environment Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa on Wednesday chaired a high-level review meeting with senior officials of the Environment Department and the Delhi Pollution Control Committee (DPCC) to assess ongoing ground actions and upcoming initiatives to tackle pollution in the city.
Officials shared data from the last 24 hours, highlighting significant enforcement and cleanliness efforts. During this period, 2,927 vehicles were challaned for not possessing a valid Pollution Under Control (PUC) certificate, while 327 non-destined trucks were diverted from entering Delhi through the Eastern and Western Peripheral Expressways.
