New Delhi, July 8 -- The Delhi Congress today attacked the BJP-led Delhi government accusing it of failing to supply clean drinking water to the people of the national capital.

The party also warned that if safe and clean drinking water is not ensured for the people of Delhi soon, the party will take to the streets with a "Matka Phod" (earthen pot-breaking) protest.

In a statement here, Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee (DPCC) senior spokesperson Naresh Kumar held Delhi Jal Board responsible for the situation.
