Chandigarh, Dec. 8 -- Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta arrived in Amritsar on Monday for a spiritually significant day-long visit covering three major religious sites of the city. Accompanied by cabinet ministers, the Chief Minister was received at Sri Guru Ram Dass Jee International Airport by local officials and representatives before proceeding directly to the Golden Temple.

At Sri Harmandir Sahib, Gupta offered prayers and listened to Gurbani. Speaking to the media, she said the visit was meant as an expression of gratitude following the successful 350th anniversary celebrations held recently at the Red Fort in Delhi.
