New Delhi, Sept. 2 -- Fifteen days after being attacked during a public hearing, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta will resume her Jansunwai programme on Wednesday under heavy security cover.
Delhi Police has made elaborate arrangements to ensure foolproof protection and prevent any untoward incident. Additional personnel, including women officers, have been deployed at the CM's Civil Lines residence, a senior police official said.
Personnel in plain clothes have also been stationed in and around the venue, while a First Response Service (FRS) van will screen visitors before entry. Senior officials will remain on the ground to directly supervise security measures, the official added.
