New Delhi, March 25 -- Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Tuesday presented a Rs 1 lakh crore budget for 2025-26 in the Union Assembly which proposes 31.5 per cent more expenditure than the budget for 2024-25.

In the budget presented on the second day of the budget session, a provision of Rs 28,000 crore has been made for the development of infrastructure in the budget.

When the Finance Minister Mrs. Gupta stood up to present the budget, the members of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) raised Modi-Modi slogans in the House and greeted her by thumping the table.
