New Delhi, Dec. 27 -- Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Saturday said the foundation stone was laid for the development of Atal Garden in Uttam Nagar area of west Delhi.

She said the garden, which is coming up in a densely populated area, will bring freshness to the air, help bring down pollution, and also provide the locals with modern amenities, cleanliness, and an organized public space.

Taking to social media platform X, CM stated that the Atal Garden project is inspired by former PM Vajpayee's thought, according to which development moves ahead along with nature and culture.
