New Delhi, Feb. 9 -- Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta and Environment Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa on Monday launched six new air quality monitoring centres and 35 'Vayu Rakshak' vehicles from the Delhi Secretariat.

Speaking to the media, Chief Minister Rekha Gupta said that her government which completed one year in office has given highest priority to pollution control in the capital city.

She said that the six new air quality monitoring centres by the Environment Department will help bridge existing gaps and ensure better tracking of air quality trends across the city.
