New Delhi, Sept. 13 -- Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta today launched the national capital's first hotline maintenance van designed to repair live electricity wires without power cut to the nearby areas.
These vans were launched as part of a pilot project in the Shalimar Bagh assembly constituency, while similar vans will soon be seen across other constituencies as well.
According to Gupta, it is for the first time in the country that such an initiative has come into place. Delhi's power minister Ashish Sood and other important leaders along with officials were present on the occasion.
