New Delhi, Dec. 17 -- A new cultural and transport landmark was added to the national capital's repertoire on Wednesday with the inauguration of a state-of-the-art Delhi Metro Museum at the Supreme Court Metro Station.
The new landmark mark three decades of the capital's flagship urban transport system and its role in shaping a cleaner, more connected city.
Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, who inaugurated the museum, highlighted the Delhi Metro's contribution to reducing congestion and pollution by encouraging a shift away from private vehicles.
She said the Metro has emerged as a backbone of public transport in the capital and a key factor in improving environmental outcomes.
