New Delhi, Dec. 5 -- Chief Minister Rekha Gupta has directed Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) to effectively implement dust mitigation measures across all their construction sites, as a mandatory step, with strict instructions that under no circumstances should construction activities lead to pollution.
The CM, during a meeting held on Friday with the top officials of the government and the DMRC, expressed displeasure over continuous complaints that heavy dust is rising from most Metro construction sites and that adequate dust-mitigation measures have not been implemented.
