Vadodara, Jan. 21 -- Delhi Capitals batter Lizelle Lee has been fined 10 per cent of her match fee and handed one demerit point for breaching the WPL Code of Conduct during her team's match against Mumbai Indians at the BCA Stadium in Vadodara on Tuesday.
Lee admitted to a Level 1 offence under Article 2.2, which relates to the abuse of cricket equipment during the course of the match, as per the WPL release.
As per the WPL Code of Conduct, the Match Referee's decision for Level 1 breaches is final and binding.
The incident took place in the 11th over of the Capitals' innings when Lee was adjudged stumped off Amanjot Kaur after a prolonged on-field discussion between the umpires.
