New Delhi, March 9 -- Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said on Saturday that the national capital's budget is aimed at empowering women and caters to the needs of every section of society.

Speaking in the Assembly during the discussion on the 2024-25 annual budget presented by Finance Minister Atishi, Kejriwal said, "The budget is aimed at empowering our mothers and sisters. It includes the announcement of giving Rs 1000 to every woman above the age of 18. If there are several eligible women in a household, they will all receive Rs 1000 under the scheme," he said.

He further criticized the BJP, stating, "There are two models of governance operating in the country.
