New Delhi, Jan. 3 -- Delhi breathed an improved 'poor' air accompanied by a windy morning. India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued 'yellow alert' for Delhi following dense fog affecting visibility during early hours of the day.
On Friday GRAP Stage-III was removed following a better status Air Quality Index. Delhi's AQI was recorded at 380 on Thursday, and has significantly improved. It recorded 236 AQI on Friday at 4 pm, showing a declining trend.
"Keeping in view the prevailing trend of air quality, the CAQM Sub-Committee on GRAP decides to revoke all actions as envisaged under Stage-III of the extant GRAP, with immediate effect, in the entire NCR. All actions under Stages I & II of extant GRAP to remain in force in NCR," said ...
