Chandigarh, Nov. 19 -- The investigation into the Delhi blast case has expanded into Uttar Pradesh, where the NIA recovered a suspicious Haryana-registered car from Kanpur's Hitkari Nagar. Officials are verifying ownership details, although sources indicate that Dr. Shaheen Saeed, who was arrested in the case, had visited Kanpur nearly 25 days before the explosion.
During interrogation, Dr. Shaheen and her associate, Mujammil, reportedly admitted to stealing chemicals from the laboratory of Faridabad's Al-Falah University for bomb-making. The university has already been under scrutiny after multiple raids.
