Pankaj JainNew Delhi, Feb. 20 -- The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led government in Delhi on Friday completed one year in office, with Chief Minister Rekha Gupta marking the occasion by offering prayers at the Marghat Wale Hanuman Baba Temple, Kashmiri Gate and expressing gratitude to the people for their mandate.
The first anniversary of the government comes amid the BJP's assertion that the past year has focused on governance reforms, infrastructure push and resolution of long-pending civic issues in the national capital.
After offering prayers at the temple, Gupta thanked the citizens of Delhi "from the bottom of my heart" for giving the BJP an opportunity to serve.
