Delhi BJP chief hits out at AAP leaders for politicising sensitive issues like rain related deaths
New Delhi, Aug. 14 -- Delhi BJP president Virendra Sachdeva today slammed Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leaders for politicising sensitive issues such as deaths caused by falling trees and water-logging during the heavy rains.
Sachdeva stated that even a single death due to water-logging or a tree or wall collapse in Delhi is deeply unfortunate, and the BJP government treats such incidents with seriousness and sensitivity.
The BJP leader has strongly condemned the Leader of Opposition in Delhi Assembly Atishi's demand for the resignation of the PWD Minister over a death caused by a fallen tree, and her colleague Saurabh Bhardwaj's press conference on the issue.
