New Delhi, Feb. 5 -- Around 33.31 percent of polling was recorded till 1 pm in the Delhi Assembly election, which is underway peacefully, on Wednesday.

According to the Election Commission of India , Central Delhi Assembly Constituency recorded the lowest turnout of 29.74 percent, while the North East Constituency witnessed the highest voter turnout of 39.51 percent till 1300 hours.

President Droupadi Murmu, Senior BJP leader and External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar, Senior BJP leader and Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri, BJP Delhi President Virendra Sachdeva, AAP candidate from Jangpura constituency Manish Sisodia and others were among the first few citizens to cast their votes.
