New Delhi, Feb. 1 -- Representatives from Delhi's rural belt, which comprises 360 villages, on Sunday met at Mangolpur Kalan village under the leadership of Sakal Panchayat Palam chief Surender Solanki and discussed the house tax waiver in the national Capital's Lal Dora and extended Lal Dora areas, a demand that they have already placed before the government.
The meeting of the village chiefs comes after a discussion on the house tax waiver that recently took place between a delegation from villages led by Solanki and the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) leadership, including Mayor Raja Iqbal, standing committee chairperson Satya Sharma and the civic body House leader.
