New Delhi, Feb. 15 -- A 22-year-old alleged shooter linked to the Kaushal Chaudhary gang has been arrested by Delhi Police, foiling a conspiracy to murder a businessman in north Delhi and dismantling plans to expand an organised extortion network, police said on Sunday.
According to the police, the accused, Kuldeep Singh, a resident of Bhalswa Dairy, was arrested by the Anti-Gangster Squad (AGS) following a targeted operation in Dwarka on February 7.
Acting on specific intelligence inputs, police laid a trap near the under-construction market in Sector-17, Nursery Road. "Singh was intercepted while riding a scooty and allegedly attempted to flee before being overpowered by the raiding team," police said.
