Hyderabad, Nov. 27 -- Degrees can no longer be treated as lifelong qualifications in an age shaped by artificial intelligence, and must effectively carry "expiry dates" unless supported by continuous learning and reskilling, National Educational Technology Forum (NETF) and National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) Chairman Prof Anil Dattatreya Sahasrabudhe said.
Delivering the keynote address at the inaugural session of a two-day FICCI conference on "Future Forward: Reimagining Education for an AI-Driven World", he traced the evolution of technology from the industrial revolution and steam engines to semiconductors, ICT, the internet and now AI.
