Chennai, July 26 -- The 100-day Tamil Nadu wide Padayatra led by PMK Working President
Anbumani Ramadoss to retrieve the rights of the Tamil people, will go ahead as scheduled, despite
concerns raised by his father and party founder S. Ramadoss, and poice rejecting permission for
it citing law and order issues in Northern districts.
Anbumani began his state-wide yatra from the temple town of Tiruporur last evening after offering worship at the famous Lord Murugan temple.
The yatra centred on ten key rights of the people to be ensured as enshrined in the Constitution.
