La Paz, Oct. 9 -- Leganes defender Lucas Macazaga has been ruled out of Bolivia's friendlies against Jordan and Russia due to injury, the Bolivian Football Federation said.
The 19-year-old was replaced in La Verde's squad by Bulgaria-based winger Jose Martines, the federation said in a statement on Wednesday, without providing details of Macazaga's injury.
Martines' only previous appearance for Bolivia came in a 2-1 friendly defeat to Panama in 2023.
Bolivia will meet Jordan in Istanbul on Friday and Russia in Moscow on Tuesday.
