Mumbai, Oct. 17 -- Defence Minister Rajnath Singh today visited the Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd (HAL) Nashik plant in Maharashtra and inaugurated the third production line of the LCA Mk1A Tejas fighter aircraft, as well as the second production line of the Hindustan Turbo Trainer-40 (HTT-40), basic trainer aircraft developed by HAL for the Indian Air Force (IAF).
Singh also witnessed the maiden flight of the LCA Tejas Mk1A, manufactured at HAL Nashik's third production line, besides a fly past by the Su-30 Mki and a formation flight of the HTT-40.
