New Chandigarh, Sept. 17 -- India all-rounder Deepti Sharma today brushed aside speculation over a potential handshake controversy cropping up when India face Pakistan in the upcoming Women's Cricket World Cup next month, saying the players' attention currently remains firmly on their immediate task - the ODI series against Australia.
Speaking to reporters on the eve of the second One-Day International at the New PCA Stadium, Deepti was asked if the team would decline to shake hands with their Pakistani counterparts during the October 5 clash in Colombo, similar to what happened between the men's sides in Dubai during the Asia Cup.
