Palaniswami (EPS) tonight took a dig at the DMK government for failing to implement the Madurai Bench of the Madras High Court Single Judge's order permitting lighting of the traditional Karthigai Deepam on the lighthouse pillar at the Thiruparankundram hilltopin Madurai.
He also condemned the arrest of BJP State President Nainar Nagendran and other hindu outfit leaders for defying the prohibitory orders and attempting to proceed to the hilltop armed with the court order allowiglighting of Deepam and demanded their release.
