Bhubaneswar, May 29 -- Heavy to very heavy rainfall is very likely to occur at several places in Odisha for the next couple of days due to deep depression over the Northwest Bay of Bengal.

IMD said the deep depression is very likely to move nearly north-northeastwards, maintain its intensity of deep depression till evening, and weaken gradually into a depression thereafter.

Reports reaching the state capital said Lanjigarh in Kalahandi recorded 10cm rainfall followed by Chilka ( 9 cm), Angul, Begunia,Krishnaprasad, Ganjam, and Bhaopur with 7 cm.
