Sydney, Oct. 25 -- Captain Shubman Gill today said that plans to keep senior white-ball stars Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli in rhythm will be finalised only after the ongoing ODI series against South Africa concludes on December 6.

"We haven't talked about it yet. But I think once South Africa (ODI) series is over (on December 6), there will be a gap in international cricket before the New Zealand ODI series (January 11, 2026). So I think then we will see how to keep the players in touch. Then I think a decision will be taken," he told reporters here.

Gill's remarks came after the duo starred in India's emphatic nine-wicket win over Australia in the final ODI, with Kohli scoring an unbeaten 74 and Rohit hitting 121*.
