Chennai, May 4 -- For the first time the Tamil Nadu election results has thrown up a fractured mandate, resulting in a hung Assembly, as none of the three leading players failing to get a majority on their own with the nascent Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) of actor-politician Vijay takint the poll scene, emerging as the single largest party in its maiden foray, but fell short of a simple majority as counting of votes polled in the April 23 elections was taken up on Monday.
