Debutant Sarfaraz downplays runout before making joint-record
Rajkot, Feb. 15 -- Debutant Sarfaraz Khan on Thursday downplayed his unfortunate runout with centurion Ravindra Jadeja as his partner.
"He said there was a bit of miscommunication, but I said it is okay," he told reporters at the press conference here. Sarfaraz replied to a query about Jadeja's reaction to his runout in the dressing room.
Sarfaraz, however, lauded Jadeja for helping him in the middle during his lively 62-run knock. "I like talking while batting. Therefore, I told Jadeja to keep talking to me. He did the same and had a chat at lunchtime," he said.
"I was a bit nervous when I played my first sweep and missed it. But he (Jadeja) told me to take some time," he added.
