Mexico City, Aug. 22 -- : As many as six people were killed in Colombia's Cali and another 12 in the department of Antioquia as a result of terrorist attacks carried out by various rebel groups, the country's authorities said.
A terrorist attack near a military airbase in Cali was carried out on Thursday using a mined truck. Media reported that five people were killed and 36 injured in the attack. Another rebel attack occurred in the department of Antioquia, where the terrorists shot down a police helicopter. The national police said that 12 officers had died in the crash, and four had been injured.
"The Cali Ministry of Health reports that 65 people were injured and six were killed," Cali Mayor Alejandro Eder said on X.
