Thiruvananthapuram, Sept. 29 -- Congress General Secretary and Lok Sabha MP K.C. Venugopal has written to union Home Minister Amit Shah demanding stringent legal and political action against a Kerala BJP spokesperson who allegedly issued a death threat to Congress leader Rahul Gandhi during a Malayalam television debate.
Terming the incident a "serious criminal offence," Venugopal cautioned that such hate-mongering cannot be dismissed as casual rhetoric.
