Tokyo, Nov. 24 -- Indian karateka Loma Swain won the bronze medal in Women's Kumite in the 50 kg category on Monday at the 25th Deaflympics being played here.

Loma, the 25 year old Odisha native from Bhutmundai village of Jagatsighpur district has won three international and five national medals thus far.

She trains at the Utkal Karate School, Bhubaneshwar.

This is India's first ever medal in Karate at Deaflympics.
