New Delhi, June 25 -- All de-addiction facilities across the country have been geo-tagged to ensure they are easily accessible to those seeking information or treatment to combat substance use disorders, the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment (DoSJE) said today.

In a statement here, it further said more than 20,000 volunteers have been engaged in sensitising the public about the dangers of substance abuse. So far, nearly 16 crore people have been reached through this awareness campaign, said the statement which comes on the eve of the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking.
