Sangareddy, Dec. 24 -- The Drugs Control Administration on Wednesday busted an unlicensed medical device manufacturing unit at Mediblue Healthcare Pvt. Ltd in Sultanpur area of the district.
Acting on credible information, the officials conducted a raid on Tuesday and detected illegal manufacturing of Risk Class-B medical devices without the mandatory licence, said Shahnawaz Qasim, Director General, DCA, in a release.
During the raid, officials found large quantities of Dialysis Kits (Sterile EO), Sterile Surgical Gowns and Sterile Eye Drapes manufactured and stocked for sale.
Seized medical devices worth Rs 1.70 lakh from the premises.
