Hamirpur, March 24 -- On the occasion of World TB Day, Deputy Commissioner Gandharva Rathore on Tuesday launched a 100-day screening drive as part of the 'TB-Free Campaign.'She said that under this campaign, teams from the Health Department will conduct preliminary screenings of approximately 1.70 lakh people across 432 villages, out of the district's total estimated population of 5.15 lakhs. This group includes all individuals over the age of 60, as well as those suffering from hypertension, blood pressure/diabetes issues, and other serious ailments, who are at a higher risk of contracting tuberculosis.
