Dharamshala, March 26 -- Deputy Commissioner Kangra Hemraj Bairwa has directed banks to prioritise loan disbursement for education, agriculture and other productive sectors to boost economic growth and employment generation in the district.
Chairing a meeting of the District Level Review Committee (DLRC), District Consultative Committee (DCC) and District Coordination Committee at the DRDA auditorium here on Wednesday, the DC said the upcoming Dhagwar milk processing plant is expected to create new employment opportunities. He emphasised that banks should extend greater financial support to farmers, particularly in allied sectors such as dairy farming.
