Pune, March 6 -- Day temperatures were markedly above normal (5.1degC or above) at isolated places over Konkan and Goa; appreciably above normal (3.1degC to 5.0degC) at isolated places over Gangetic West Bengal, coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam; above normal (1.6degC to 3.0degC) at a few places over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal; at isolated places over Saurashtra and Kutch, Madhya Maharashtra, Kerala and Mahe, Telangana, Odisha, Assam and Meghalaya.
These were below normal (-3.0degC to -1.6degC) at a few places over east Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Madhya Pradesh; at isolated places over Rajasthan, Jammu-Kashmir and Ladakh, Gilgit, Baltistan, Muzaffarabad, west Uttar Pradesh and near normal over rest parts of the cou...
